The Hall sits comfortably in an elevated position at the heart of the village. As regular visitors will know, local car parking is restricted and limited to short-term 'drop-off' although there is a spacious public car park just along the road. The Church, Pubs and Museum are close by as are the village shops and several Cafés.
The building is entered via the Foyer which comprises a small gathering area with some seating a refreshment/bar counter. Leading from this entrance hall is the entrance to the main hall and corrider proving access to two anterooms as well as toilets.
The Hall is suitable for Family Celebrations, Dancing, Musical Events, Children's & Adult Parties, Keep fit, Amateur-dramatics, Rehearsal rooms, Lectures and meetings, Field Study base, Public Gatherings, Charity Events, etc.. In particular for conferences open link Wi-Fi is fitted - recently a seminar was streamed from the hall with participants from Japan and the USA received unbroken coverage)
The hall can accommodate up to 200 persons reducing to around 160 guests with table-seating for parties with three-course-plate place settings. Our modern kitchen has two hobs and two ovens, a microwave, a built in boiler and commercial 2 minute cycle dish washer, coffee maker, fridge and two portable hot water boilers. The small bar is unlicensed although bar & food facilities might be sought through local Island businesses - subject to requirements and other business commitments.

Of course there are those who may not wish to utilise the kitchen in which case all manner of refreshment from Pie & Peas to a Hog Roast or a full Wedding Breakfast can be sourced locally in North Northumberland.
