Comment: | The German ship Abyssina was wrecked on the 'Knivestone Rocks' on the outer Farne islands. She was on route prior to being handed opver to a British company. Fortunately she had no passengers or cargo on board and within an hour of striking the rocks she toppled over and sank. |
