THE STORY OF LINDISFARNE

This summer holiday take a whistle-stop tour through 4000 years of history in 40 minutes at Lindisfarne Priory. Saints, kings and confused islanders will be your guides as you make your way through the priory ruins with this strolling theatrical show.

Gather round as a cast of three from Time Will Tell Theatre take you on a fast-paced journey from the Bronze Age through to the Tudor times. Help the Bronze Age inhabitants decide whether they should stay on Holy Island and stand by as the Dark Age islanders realise that there's no escape from intruders. See if you can understand what St. Aidan has to say and find out how the priory stone was recycled in the medieval period.

This witty and informal story-telling show is bound to keep the whole family entertained. There'll be three shows per day and
times vary depending on the tide times.
