HOLY ISLAND COOKBOOK
85 RECIPES FROM NEAR AND FAR
The Holy Island Cook Book contains a mixture of
traditional recipes, many handed down in local
families and new ones gathered from other parts of
the country, and indeed the World. Recipes have come
from people ranging in age from children in our own
village school to the oldest residents, regular
visitors and friends of the Island, as well as those
who make their living by cooking.
Everyone involved in this book has one thing in
common - their love for the Holy Island of
Lindisfarne. In particular, all they want to see it
with a new and thriving village hall. All profits
resulting from the sale of this book will be donated
towards its restoration. In purchasing the Holy
Island Cook Book, you will have contributed towards
its rebuilding and the regeneration of the life of
our community.
