Britannia House Welcome to Holy Island, an important centre of early Christianity in Britain, a wildlife sanctuary for grey seals and thousands of sea bird visitors throughout the year; accessible twice daily at low tide & situated two miles across the causeway from the mainland, a beautiful location with secluded beaches and lovely walks; historical Lindisfarne Priory and Lindisfarne Castle are close by with the Village itself very busy in the Summer months. Britannia is a non-smoking property and traditional late 18th Century stone cottage of great charm and character situated in the centre of Holy Island, set back from and overlooking the village green; spacious and comfortable, excellent furnishings and facilities.

Ground Floor:
Comfortable living room with twin leather sofas and armchair, original oak beams, wood burner [wood not provided], large bay window overlooking village green with its sycamore trees planted by Queen Elizabeth in the 1950's. Fully fitted well equipped kitchen, separate dining room with
bi-folding doors, seating for six people. Small, newly laid garden patio with garden furniture, bench seat at the front of house featured on iconic folk group Lindisfarne’s album “Fog on the Tyne”.
First Floor:
Large main bedroom with king-size double bed, walk in wardrobe, large bay window with views across the village green and the North Sea beyond. Second bedroom has two spacious three-foot bunks, top bunk for children only. Bathroom with toilet, hand basin, bath and overhead shower.
Second Floor:
Stylish self-contained loft conversion, twin bedroom with skylight windows and views towards St. Cuthbert Isle; adjacent bathroom: toilet, hand basin and walk-in wet-room shower; cosy landing with seating.
