It is a fact that if the word Lindisfarne is input into the major Internet Search Engines many hundreds of sites are output. If the names of the early saints who inhabited our tiny Northumbrian Island are added to the search, the numbers reach into the thousands.
Some 1400 years later on, we feel that it would be entirely in the spirit of our predecessors to establish a summary of the world's web sites having Lindisfarne connections.
Such connections may well be directly indicated by name alone - Lindisfarne School, St.Oswald's Church, St.Aidan's Hospital, St.Cuthbert's Retreat etc.. However, we also feel that the inclusion of sites which reflect the spirituality of our early Saints or even businesses which have named connections would also be appropriate.
