GENERAL INFORMATION FOR GUESTS

WORSHIP: Services are held in the Parish Church of St.Mary the Virgin:

The Roman Catholic Centre usually has a Mass at sometime during each summer weekend.
Times are posted on the door.
Community Prayers: The Community has prayers at 9.30am in the Crypt at Marygate
House, except on Sundays. These last for about 10 minutes, and guests are very welcome to join us.
We also have a vigil of silent prayer in the Parish Church or Crypt on Saturday evenings from 7.30pm to
8.00pm.
Charges: There are no fixed charges for staying at Marygate House or Cambridge house.
Guests are asked to contribute what they can and will, and place their donations in one of the boxes
provided.(*)
No deposit is required. Friends will obviously see that this leaves us vulnerable.
If you are bringing a group, please make sure in good time that you have a viable party.
What to bring. Please bring towels: everything else is provided. we suggest warm windproof
clothes and shoes suitable for rough walking.
Season: We are open January to December but closed for about three weeks over Christmas and
New Year. We are also closed to guests for about ten days at Easter.

* We know that some guests would welcome a suggestion for contributions... We calculate
that we need an income averaging about £35.00 per person per day. But this is a suggestion only - we should
be very distressed if any friends felt they could not come for this reason.
