A wonderful place to visit I have visited regularly for 14 years but not this year sadly. You have a peaceful way of life and must be so relaxed when the tide comes in.27/10/10

Visited the Holy island of Lindisfarne on 22nd august 2010. the most beautiful island I have visited. . I was part of a tour from St. Bendicts in Cowpen and Father Derek Carberry took a service at 12.30pm in the church of St Mary. Even though there were many people visiting, the island retained a serene and comfortable feeling.08/9/10

I have just been checking out your website. Lindisfarne UK seems just as friendly and welcoming as our Lindisfarne Village in Tasmania AUS. We have St Cuthbert's School and St Aiden's Church - I never knew the link until today. I am coming over in June and hope to visit! Cheers Bern
Guestmaster: We're pleased you're following up on your heritage - have a safe journey.

Am back in UK for four weeks visiting family. I see the library shelves in Marygate House are still OK. I fitted them way back in the days when Kate Tristram was a warden at the house. I too subsequently became ordained and have been a missionary in the Pacific Region building Christian Radio Stations, the last one being in the Republic of Palau on the Island of Babeldaob.07/3/10

I came to visit Holy Island on Wednesday 17th Feb 2010 with my family! We had a lovely day and the weather was lovely apart from it being slightly cold! We would all love to visit again & spend a little more time on the island to explore it more!
Guestmaster: That's how we started 27years ago!

I have a Great, great, great grandmother, Anne, who was born on Holy Island in 1798. Would love to find out more about her and her surname. There can't be too many births each year! I wanted to retire there but my husband preferred the South West.22/1/10
