I've been to Lindisfarne many times, butmy last visit was by far the best. A party of us were shown the unique flora by the very knowledgeable manger, Andrew. Also, searching Wikipedia, was surprised how much music has been written about the place, by Poles, Norwegians, Belgians, Germans & Americans, must get the Sneaker Pimps to do a modern piece.

I was introduced to the island from the book HOLY ISLAND PRAYER BOOK. Toured electronicaly today, and wish I could come for a prayerful time, I'm so intriqued with the saintly beginnings of your lovely island.

We visited Holy Island just before Easter and it was very cold and windy. The sun shone and the sky was beautiful. We had a wonderful time on this jewel of an island. Evie says i loved the casel and the hills .

Hi, A friend has asked me to find out if there is anyone on the island who is expert in the history. Her husband's family is related to the Prideaux Selbys who were, I understand, Lords of the Manor at some stage and she would like to discover more. Is there anyone whom she could contact, please? Thanks for your help, Robert Cooper

I visited in 2006, but didn't notice the guestbook until just now. What a wonderful little section of the Earth. I'd get on a plane and come back this very instant if I could. Friendly people, immense historical importance ... and mead! What more could a sane person ask for?

Stayed at my parents house Snook House" on the Island from 28th Dec 2007 to 3rd Jan 2008. Always my most realxing break of the Year. Had fireworks on the beach on New Years Eve and a lovely walk down to the harbour to see my little brother's new boat! Can't wait to come back in the summer - hope the weather is good - there's nothing like a Holy Island tan to make your friends jealous!
